A little history about us...
I have been taking photographs for as long as I can remember.
After leaving school, I started training as a dark room technician for Barry Gould Photography in Wadesmill, Hertfordshire, and attended Ware College to study for a City & Guilds qualification.
After a year or so in the dark I moved from Barry's to the photographic department of Tesco in their head office in Cheshunt. There I gained my fascination with creative lighting, from lighting plastic sausages to fashion models, a great place to learn.
I opened my first framing gallery in Great Dunmow and gained a reputation for quality and also for framing the unusual from one-off bespoke art works originating from South Africa, to football shirts,keys and even a set of false teeth...
Since moving to Stowmarket three years ago, I opened BDi Creations and quickly realised that I needed and extra pair of hands. I had known about Melanie's interest in photography and she started working just a few hours a week.
Now Mel is a partner in the business and has an enormous amount of creative ideas in in all aspects of BDi..
We now have a large purpose built studio and gallery in
The Old Fox Yard in the centre of Stowmarket.We offer a full photographic service which includes, Weddings, Portraits, Make-overs and commercial work, also in our fully equipped framing gallery we are able to frame your most unusual ideas, as well as your favourite photographs.
